At The Plastic Surgery Center, Dr. Paul Talbot will use computer imaging to let you “try on” different noses. Change the length, width, or overall shape until you find one that suits your face. Dr. Talbot will make recommendations and frankly discuss with you what can and cannot be accomplished with rhinoplasty.

As patients begin to investigate the possibilities, some consider combining nose surgery with a chin implant, particularly when the chin is disproportionately smaller than the nose. Rhinoplasty aesthetically re-shapes the nose, and it can also correct obstacles to breathing, such as a deviated septum. Whatever your reasons for desiring the surgery, you will surely feel better and feel better about yourself.

At The Plastic Surgery Center, rhinoplasty is an out-patient procedure performed under general anesthesia. Typically, one incision is made at the bottom of the nose and the remaining incisions are inside the nostrils. A splint on the outside of the nose will remain in place for approximately one week; gauze packing may be removed in a few days. Dr. Talbot will discuss all the risks and benefits of your procedure with you, and you will be thoroughly informed on the surgery and the recovery process.
